Hecate Sample is in!

Hello Everyone!
We hope you are all excited to see this! We received the Hecate Sample pin!
Here are some quick photos/video:
We mentioned the overfill issues around the face and in some other areas to the manufacturer. They said they will be more careful during full production to help avoid this as much as possible.
Other than that, the enameling, recessed metal, and colors look good, especially the printing! And we love the dangling keys! We decided the rubber backings will actually keep the pins safer during shipping (we have had issues with another manufacturer where the pins all got scratched during shipping). If you want butterfly clutches still, we have extra gold ones that we can add to your order upon request (just message on Kickstarter).
We are doing a small run of this pin to fulfill all Kickstarter pledges and pre-orders first and we asked them to take their time to make sure these come out as good as possible!
The Hecate Pin will also come in a box on a backing card with a special slip cover. We will reveal it once we get the printing done!
We are super excited about these and really hope you are also! Next, we should be getting photos of the Apothecary sign enamel pin. We just need to approve photos and then the full production will be about 3 weeks.

April Update! Charging Cards!

Hello Everyone!
Hecate Pin
We have been working hard trying to finalize the colors with our manufacturer for the Hecate Pin before mass production. Here are some photos of the progress:
Here is the mold without any fill
Here is the first attempt. It was so minty! The keys are looking good though (just need polishing).
There were a few in-betweens, but the skin color on this one looks better!
The flames are too dark!
This one looks the best so far! We have to see in person first, but we may have them lighten the flames, and darken the red. But the colors are looking good :)
These photos are from our manufacturer, so they are not the best. Once we actually receive the sample, we will take better photos. First photo is the mold, then the colors filled in. The first ones were too minty! The last one is the best so far, but we are still concerned with the red color. It may be too orange for the whole series of pins, but we will wait to change it until we see it in person. It could just be the lighting. It is hard to know what the colors are going to look like in real life next to the metal color until you see them in person.
The manufacturer just needs to fill in the stained glass and do the polishing and the printing and then they will send it to us for final approval. We paid extra for a sample to be sent to us to make sure there wouldn't be any mistakes or remakes. Hopefully they will have it done within the next week or so. This is causing a little bit of a delay since we went back and forth several times, but we are very picky with the colors and believe it was worth it for the final result so far!
The manufacturer said, once approved, they can have the pins made and shipped out in about 2-3 weeks! But this means we won't get them until next month (May). We apologize for the delay and for going back and forth so many times, we just want the colors to look good since they are very important to this series!
Charging Cards
Since we are getting closer to having these done, we are going to charge cards that have not been charged yet. I was waiting until we made more progress to do this, and I think we are there now. We will also be closing the Backerkit pre-order store April 30th! So if you haven't filled out the survey or if you want to add something, please do it by end of this month! You will all soon receive a message from Backerkit about charging cards and/or filling out the survey if you haven't already.
Once we get the colors approved, manufacturing will go much quicker! We are also currently working on the backing cards, and making a slip cover for a box for Hecate. She is a hefty pin, so we want to make sure she is protected during shipping. We are also making a smaller box slip cover and backing card for the jewelry. And of course a backing card for the rest of the pins. We want your packages to be very fancy when you open them!

Hopefully the next update will be photos of the finished Hecate pin! We are super excited to receive her and to share with you all :)

February Update! New Egyptian Items!

Hello Everyone!
Just wanted to send a quick update to let you all know that things are moving along with production now after the two week break for Chinese New year :) We are still waiting on the Hecate sample before full production. Once approved things will go quickly!
We are expecting to charge cards (ones that have not been charged yet) towards mid to end of March. I will post another update as a warning and you will get a 48hr notice in your email.
If you haven't filled out the survey please try to do it by end of March. I am hoping to start shipping by end of April and into May (depending on the items that are ready).

Ammit Enamel Pin 1.75" H
Ammit was the Ancient Egyptian idea of the punishment of the soul. She was feared but still believed to be a force for good because she punished the souls deemed unworthy during the trial of Ma'at and the weighing of the heart. The heart was considered the vessel for the soul, which is why Ammit was also known as the "eater of hearts."
Wepwawet Enamel Pin 1.75" H
Wepwawet was the Ancient Eqyptian god known as the "opener of the ways." He helped the deceased through the frequently dangerous paths to the afterlife, clearing the way to the final judgment of the dead. He was often seen as a white or grayish wolf or jackal, often confused with Anubis. Anubis was considered his brother, but it is speculated by historians that the two figures were eventually combined into one deity.

Quick update about survey and Pre-Order store

Hello Everyone!
Thank you to everyone who was able to fill out the survey already! We really appreciate it :)
If you did not receive the survey, please message me here on Kickstarter and I will send you your link. Sometimes it just doesn't go through.
For those who are waiting to fill out the survey, you still have time so no worries! Please just fill it out as soon as you can just to get the final counts. We will not lock orders until April and give warnings beforehand.
We are still waiting on the sample of the Hecate pin before we do mass production. We should get it a few weeks after the Chinese New Year Holiday, so some time in early March. Once we confirm the colors and the plating, we will start mass producing all of the pins. If there are any delays, we will send an update.
